Peter Hill is Vice President of Business Applications at Amazon Web Services, including Amazon Connect, Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon Simple Email Service, and Amazon Connect Customer Profiles. Peter joined Amazon in 1997, and has had roles in Networking, Database Engineering, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, though spent more of his time as a Software Development Engineer. As a software developer, Peter helped create the Amazon.com website, its content management systems, and several other core components as part of Distributed Systems Engineering teams. Since that time, Peter has held leadership roles in website performance and monitoring, Kindle e-reader and tablet devices, and AWS. Within AWS, Peter has worked on several different services, though found his passion working on business productivity solutions.
